What Sarah Palmer doesn't like about Moshi:
The worst food I’ve had in Oxford period. Ordered green curry tofu with rice, it was more like freezer burned and defrosted tofu with oil sauce (instead of any curry). Wonton soup came with 2 wontons.. Have no idea how this restaurant is still open… View all feedback. What yg9090 likes about Moshi:
Considering basic decor and very cheap lunchtime price, we were not expecting the deliciously fresh, simple meal of clear soup and stuffed bun. Restored our faith in Oxford’s oriental fayre after a very disappointing meal in a town centre pub the night before. View all feedback.

Very fast delicious authentic Japanese lunch; usually rice dishes.
You get what you pay for. The food is cheap, but microwave. Very fast.

While some diners found the food lacking in quality and flavor, others were pleasantly surprised by the fresh and simple dishes. The Thai green curry and beef noodle soup received mixed reviews, with some finding them disappointing and overpriced. However, the clear soup and stuffed bun were highlighted as standout dishes that restored faith in the restaurant's offerings. Overall, despite varying opinions, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Oxford, offering fantastic Chinese cuisine for a great lunch option.
The chicken soup was very tasty and fresh. My boyfriend had the porkbelly with rice and he was also happy and satisfied!
