"We booked a table after seeing the high tripadvisor ratings for this restaurant. When we arrived (7pm on a weekend evening) we were the only people in there! We enjoyed our meals, although they only made 3 of the 4 meals we had ordered and we had to ask about the final one. They didn't admit they had forgotten it and it turnoed up another 10 minutes later with no apology for the delay. 3 of the 4 meals were excellent. The 4th was very disappointing. Didn't feel that staff were particularly attentive given that we were the only ones there. Food was tasty, so would probably choose to eat from there again, but would go for the takeaway option instead."

"Love it here. The pierogi Ruski (dumplings filled with potato and cheese) are my favourites (not pictured) but have never had a bad meal. To avoid disappointment- some items in the photo were from leftovers, Yorkshire puddings and sweet corn were not provided by Polish Kitchen!"

"I have been following Spiced Roots journey and last night we finally had dinner.....awesome!! The place was full and the atmosphere was buzzing. 2 4 1 rum cocktails were great and the food was delicious!! All the staff were great fun and could not do enough. "My wife and I ate here on a Sunday night, and were really impressed with what we found. It is a wine bar, which serves a reasonably extensive snack menu. Think of it like a French tapas kind of idea, with a number of small plates on offer to eat whilst sampling the many wines, rather than a traditional restaurant serving starters and mains. We ate the wild garlic pesto tartiflette, which was delicious, and also had a charcuterie board, with generous portions of iberico ham, parma ham and cooked ham, together with bread and chutney, which was equally delicious. The other plate we ordered was a prawn and avocado salad in a balsamic vinegar dressing. This too was really tasty and was a generous size. It being a wine bar, there are numerous wines on offer, but what we chose to do was the wine flight, where you each get three small glasses, each of a different wine. I chose the Bordeaux flight and my wife chose the Rioja flight. For about £15 each, we thought it was good value and enabled us to try six different wines for a reasonable price, all of which complemented the food perfectly. There are also both white and sparkling flights available, as well as a good wine list, most of which were very reasonably priced. The restaurant/bar itself is relatively small, and reminded me of a cosy ski lodge, with wood panels on the wall and nice bench seats. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was excellent. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation returning if we are ever in the area again."
