one of the few places that accept online reservations in oxford. Although this was perhaps not necessary, the place is huge, so many tables available. eating was good when a little bit salty, like in other pubs. they came very fast, in less than 10 minutes. my wife ordered the mushroom risotto, which was listed as the main specialist. it was not possible. the accompanying brokkoli was oversalted and also not edible. that was good. the burgers were ok. they take reservations like a restaurant, but it is a pub. everything is ordered in cash, which is good when they know it is just a pub. drinks were excellent.
