While some dishes, like the chicken foo young and fried rice, have received praise, many longtime patrons express disappointment with the diminished quality and rising prices. Familiar favorites, such as sweet and sour pork and almond chicken, are often criticized for being bland or poorly prepared. Longstanding customers lament the loss of the restaurant’s once-legendary consistency and flavor, leaving many to wonder if the beloved institution will regain its former glory or continue to fade into memory.
