"Order at counter a few tables outside. They do have customer parking (bonus) but the real plus is the food. I had the poke bowl so much food and super fresh and tasty. I had the Hawaiian sauce. Prefer spicy but wanted to try a local flavor. The shave ice is as big as a babies head lol It looked good and a lot of folks were enjoying it. "We come here at least once a year and usually get the duck fajitas which are amazing. I think this year we strayed off the beaten path too far. My partner got the fish sandwich and she said it was flavorless and dull. She was also suprised she got the top of the tomato and they didn't bother to remove the core from it. I got the mambo nachos and added duck. It was mediocre at best, the duck was nice and crispy but the beans look liked the can wasn't rinsed and drained. The amount of cheese was not substantial enough to call it nachos. I think calling it chips with a cheese dusting would be more fair. Just about everytime I have ordered nachos, even at a dive bar they layer the chips with cheese between layers. This just had topping placed on top. So after the top chip are eaten your pretty much just have a plate of chips. The last part of the nachos which seem quite a conundrum to me is that the guacamole was mostly filler of white and red onions. This island has avacado trees everywhere growing like weeds, they are redicously abundant and I just had like one scoop of guac on my plate. This first came apparent when I ordered a side dish of guac for my 15 month daughter who LOVES avacado. She usually just holds one chip and just scoops up and eats it. It had so much onion in it she wouldn't even touch it. I have photos of this baby with her face entirely covered in guac shovelling it in by the handful, not this time. The son however got a Duck burger and was very happy with it, the shoestring fries were great as well."
