"Probably ordered too much, but it was amazing so we don't regret it a little. This place consistently turns out very high-quality delicious food time and time again. A few handcrafted beers and some beautiful wine, friendly, fast service, just perfect from start to finish. Thank you for a great start after Easter. I can't wait to return."

"We were driving back home to Hastings from Wellington on 20th August 2023 and called in looking for fish and chips for lunch. We found the shop was very clean, staff friendly with great customer service. I got a piece of fresh gurnard battered and it was fresh and to die for. Batter was lovely, thin and crispy and cooking very well. Chips were cooked to perfection as was the sausage and pineapple ring. It was awesome to receive our meal in a tray and bag, rather than wrapped and squashed together in 1 parcel. It has been a very long time since we had such wonderful fish and chips. Thank you, will recommend and visit again. Great job team, you are the bomb"
