This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The dishes were flavorful and well-thought-out, though the portion of half duck was a bit small. Since After Taste in downtown PA has raised its prices significantly (to the point of being outrageous), I believe this Chinese restaurant offers the best value for money in Palo Alto. Favorite comfort food! Best Shanghai style food Peking Duck in Palo Alto.
Very chill and nice vibe. Doesn’t have a lot of customers here.
This restaurant serves some of the best Peking duck I have had in the US. The prices are a bit high and the portion size for the half duck is smaller than it used to be before Covid, more like a quarter duck. However, the duck tastes amazing and the pea shoots with garlic are delicious.
I was on delivery when I needed a break and decided to look for a nearby and cheap place to eat using Google maps. I found a restaurant called Peeking Duck that had multiple duck dishes on the menu. Despite a discrepancy in the menu prices, I ultimately ordered a half duck with steamed buns for $26. The dish was delicious with crispy skin and tender meat, especially the 5 spice crispy duck. The portion size was generous and not greasy. I may have to go back on my day off. Hit the like button if you enjoy these reviews!
