We didn't have a reservation but were seated quickly despite the restaurant being busy. The food is excellent and we have a pizza expert amongst our number none of us left disappointed. It should be 5 stars, but the amazing, efficient and hospitable waitress works by herself, pulled in all directions in a busy restaurant. What bwydardaith doesn't like about Il Padrino:
We ordered a plate of charcuterie which was tasty and huge and then two pizzas. We should have just ordered one between us as they were really big, but we took the rest away, stored in fridge overnight and ate for lunch the next day. Reasonably priced, lovely atmosphere, the other dishes looked great and generous especially pasta dishes. Pizzas could have been crispier, they were a bit soggy bottomed for our tastes.
