This was a nice little restaurant, which I visited during the week with friends. The staff were very friendly and spoke both English and French. We had a sea food platter to start and it was very big. It was shared out nicely between the...three of us. There was a big selection of food and there were some beautiful wines to chose from. A little pricey but there are specials which are worth a look. View all feedback.
What Michelle Gay doesn't like about Vin & Maree:
after waiting for our aperitif 15/20mn the suite was in the same tempo! too many people and few staff. The regulars are better than the unknown: the contents of the plates are good without effort to show. Maybe we'll come back and hope for an improvement in the service. advising the rum baba for its quantity! View all feedback.
This fish restaurant is part of a small chain in Paris. It is tucked away in a side street near the Porte de St Cloud. I have been several times for lunch, this was my first dinner there. Overall the meal was OK but given...the price bracket something is missing the service is not particularly friendly or efficient, the food is good but not great, the decor is OK but nothing special. I get the feeling a good manager could make a lot of difference here. I have also been to their address beside the Eiffel Tower and the overall impression is much better. So my main tip go to the other address!
We had dinner here with a large group. The food was quite good, and so were the wines. The service was rather slow, and they didn't seem to want to sell their products. On the other hand, we were a large group of course. Also,...there seemed to be one English-speaking waiter in the restaurant, who usually didn't serve us.
Although we enjoyed great appetizers, and good fish, i had the grilled fish with pesto sauce, the service is so poor, and you feel the waiters are waiting to push you out. Still food and wine is good, the dessert to die for, but zero...service. I had a handicapped person with me, and the cheer fact of asking for them to call a cab, seemed to be too much to ask for.
I could profit a lot of times from this restaurant thanks to a website granting reductions: quality of food has always be consistent giving fresh and well cooked John Derry or turbot and even rock lobster. Most of the time, we enjoyed good white wines...as a Menetou Salon or a Pouilly fumé.
Already come for several times, never disappointed, excellent fresh fish and huge desserts are to fall.Very good reception and service. To consume without moderation.
