Service was polite. Orders took a little while but staff apologised. Got healthy start and havana feast with cappuccino and hot choc. We were both happy with our meals. The hot chocolate was waaaay too sweet though. Would come back. Don't like some of the pictures on the wall. View all feedback.
What Mitchel Gorczany doesn't like about Coco Cubano:
I have visited Coco Cubano multiple times (although I don't know why) the service is shocking, the tables are dirty and the quality of food/drinks compared to price is only just acceptable. The atmosphere and decor from a distance looks inviting but the downfalls mentioned above quickly overpower any positives. There are plenty of other restaurants/cafes in Parramatta to choose from. Service was excellent, food was incredible and refreshing, and drinks were perfect! Will definitely be coming here again with more friends and family!
Though the look and feel of this place is nice, I felt ripped off. I wouldn't recommend eating here for dinner because the food is overpriced and tastes bland. I ordered the loaded fries but asked if they could replace the beef mince with chicken strips. I was charged extra and when it came out, the meal had sauce, chicken and chips but no cheese. I wasn't bothered to complain because the wait time of the food was already too long. Seriously, I could've made this dish for a cheaper price if I made it myself. It would've tasted better. Otherwise, Coco Cubano is really a place where you can get a cheeky coffee or drinks at. Would not recommend to eat here because the food is so not worth it.
This place has a great vibe and is located on Church Street in Parramatta, which happens to be the most happening street filled with bars and restaurants. We ended up going here for lunch and were disappointed as they did not have rice while we visited so we had to change all our dishes. The decor was fab, it looked authenticity Cuban and the outdoor sitting area was breezy, the staff is cool and it is a self service restaurant. We ordered for the VEGETARIAN NACHOS, LEMON BERRY ICED TEA and CHURROS TO SHARE. All the three items were amazing, but they took a lot of time to arrive on our table. However, I loved the experience and might go back!
