"We went to The Church Bistro which was conveniently attached to our most wonderful Church Accommodations Cottages. The space was unique and that it is actually an old church. We started with a shared appetizer of duck confit served with goat cheese in a filo dough nest which was excellent and an indication of the meal to come. We ordered one of the specials of the night, which was a delicious seafood Thai green curry served with house baked cumin bread (I can still taste it 's cumin deliciousness now). We also ordered the grilled salmon with black rice which was perfection. We shared the dark chocolate dome for dessert which was equaly delicious. The service was friendly and familiar while at the same time being equivalent to the best restaurants in big cities. Surprisingly, this bistro in this tiny town in what some may consider 'the middle of nowhere ' happen to be one of the best meals we 've had through our month-long journey around New Zealand."

"Suburb!! We had a great dining experience at Go Vino last night. It was my husbands birthday and we went with friends. We were so pleased we had booked otherwise we would have missed out on stunning food and wine. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cooks Beach not to be missed! :"

"Great Place next to Beach, where you can Walk to Cathedral Cove. Beautiful garden and lovely atmosphere. The waiter werde great and kind We had the beer paddle for tasting, they have A own brewery. On top we are the Pizza, the mussels, Fisch and Chips and the mango prwan noodle salad. All of them were beautiful made and fresh and tasty. Great Place."
