I have always enjoyed eating in santarpio’s. However, my latest culinary experience has left much to wish. I could not enjoy my meal because of a big party of so-called adult and children. no one observed or monitored the children. they created a disorder and the so-called adult ignored them. only to order more drinks. I think again to eat there. can be convinced that order goes out. not sure if I can be convinced. View all feedback.

"March 11 445 We had the best waiter who was his name Lewis. He could not have been more attentive or friendly. He was great. The food was excellent, although extremely expensive. I realized that the prices of meat have risen, but it's hard to believe that a piece of meat could cost $79. Nevertheless, the food was excellent and so it was great. Will not be back quickly due to the cost of the entire meal for two persons over $200 and that was without alcohol. Thank you."

"Seating is tight and it's a hole in the wall but food was worth the travel from Maryland. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and the campeanelle. Service was great and accommodating. First off, the sauce. On point! It has a freshness and zest that brightens all their dishes. The zing of tomatoes made my mouth salivate as I am eating the food. Second, the pasta and bread. Perfectly cooked and are perfect vehicles for the sauce. The pasta had chorizo shavings on top which added a salty n smoky profile which was to die for. There was a perfect balance rather than an overwhelming oiliness I generally know of."

"Pretty restaurant. The food was fine. The service wasn't great at all. My friend and I were essentially ignored half the time. We ordered a bottle of wine and a few items to share. The bottle of wine took over 30 minutes to come out, as well as the bread for the cheese plate. We ended up essentially ordering through the food runners/manager ? as we didn't end up seeing the waitress again until we closed out. Without warning, when she dropped the check she told us that she needed the table again immediately. We still had half a bottle of wine, that we essentially had to chug. Really not a great feeling after spending 200 on dinner."

"Enjoyed the food but underwhelmed considering the hype of the restaurant. We were seated at at the bar overlooking the kitchen which was interesting viewing, but we were served from behind which was awkward and there wasn't much room for all the small plates. The corn bread was delicious! We also had the fresh catch (red snapper that day) which was pretty good and the butternut squash ravioli. The lamb osso bucco (giouvetti) had a weird cut of meat. Overall it was good but not amazing."
