"Bill the Texan was rushed off his feet as only staff working when we called. He was pleasant, polite, professional and knew his cheeses when enquired about Christmas hampers. Dailer the lovely lady also a great help. We had no complaints"

"It consisted of a meal here at the first night of our stay based on the reviews I had previously read. my man had the Chinese new year special and I had the butternut squash pizza. while both were nice, they weren't very great. So I was a little disappointed to be honest."

"There is no doubt that the kitchen staff can cook, we were pleased with the cuisine. However, service could be friendlier and faster...we waited more than an hour between starter and main course, which is not acceptable, especially as there was no explanation for the delay or apology. We didn't see the waiter who was concentrating on the main dining area...it was like we had been forgotten. Limited opening times, but potentially a great restaurant if waiting staff could show a bit more enthusiasm and attention."

"Visiting the area for a couple of days and asked the bloke in the Tesco petrol station where the best local chippy was and he recommended this place. Happy I did as the cod was such good quality and the gravy was to die for! Great value and polite staff too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips"
