The Grove is a delightful building in beautiful gardens. My husband and I, along with our dog, went for afternoon tea and enjoyed a lovely afternoon in one of the Artisan Rooms. Contrary to some of the previous reviews I read, we found the selection of savoury and sweet treats to be delicious. What PopsPeter doesn't like about The Grove:
Poor starters with a thin wishy washy sauce. A tasty burger smothered top and bottom with a strong/unpleasant American style mustard dressing and in a restaurant that should not allow a smelly/yappy dog in a room where guests are trying to enjoy a couples dinner.
