What a welcome change from the standard Burgandy fare. Recommended by our wine tour guide and a min drive from central Beaune. Clean Contemporary design. When the weather is nice you can also eat and drink outside, and there is free WLAN. The rooms on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for visitors with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

What Suzanne Bigot doesn't like about Le Charlemagne:
Look for the price I would not recommend you go, our waiter Eric had major attitude... it didn’t add to the evening at all... it was more of an inconvenience we were there.... big shame. The food was okay out the dishes were...nice the rest were average. Tip. Spend your money elsewhere. I note they don’t have a Michelin Star anymore... that’s for a good reason. read more.

"These are the hands down one of the three best restaurant experiences I had in my whole life. Staff: I think it belongs to a couple, one works as waitress and the other than the cook. We didn't meet the cook, but the waitress was so personal. We loved our conversation with her! Drinks: Great wine choices. I started with a gin and tonic, they use a local Beaune gin that is really good. Food: Actually, I don't think you can go wrong.
