Myself and a large party went to the restaurant for a farewell meal after a week visiting the area. I stupidly booked for the wrong date and thought all was lost! The team at this place pulled it right out of the bag with a fantastic last minute service, delivering excellent quality food and very short notice. Apart from feeling a little stupid, i couldn't have been happier with my experience. Highly recommended! read more.

The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in nice weather.

"Quirky restaurant. Seating is either what look like short old pews arranged as booths in the front near the counter or normal table and chairs in the rear under the dome. They do a good assortment of savoury food and is always tasty and good value. There isn’t a huge choice of cakes and sometimes nothing takes our fancy so that’s good for the waistline. The coffee was fine the first time we went in but the quality can vary. Not sure if it’s different staff making it or if they vary the coffee they use. My partner tried the tea but found it lacked flavour. The inconsistency of the coffee and the rather grumpy lady shouting not to forget one of the items on our check, at either the waitress who was ringing up our bill, or us, has rather put us off going back. Especially as there are other places locally which, although more expensive, consistently serve excellent coffee."

"Very nice! we immediately felt welcome from the beautiful employees. I had my little boy with me, so we sat back with all the toys and it was fantastic! the food was also great, although I unfortunately did not order a cake! we'll come back to the final one and I'll get the next time the cake!"

"The restaurant staff are very friendly and will always try to give you a window seat overlooking the River Tummel spectacular when in spate! Their Fish and Chips are always excellent. If you have time a walk around Pitlochry is always worthwhile."
