Stopped at Peterborough Services for a break and discovered Bakehouse. The food was freshly cooked and made a very welcome change from the usual fast food outlets. Service was slightly chaotic but would definitely eat here again. The cup of tea was particularly good. Breakfast bap was larger than expected and decent proper bread. The Bakehouse offers good drinks and snacks......but we accepted the offer of having the cheese onion slices warmed through..........and the oven looked disgusting when it was opened. If that needs a thoroughly good clean, what about the rest of the place ? read more.
