Delicious battered halibut and clams and other choices, including breakfasts. Busy with a short line, but tables are available inside and outside, though only about nine total. The portions are generous. View all feedback.
The locals are in Petersburg, Alaska. Costal Cold Storage is a good place on the main road to get fresh fish. They serve breakfast and lunch. Locals stop for a generous meal and the latest news in Petersburg. The very good French pommes are abundant and served on red and white controlled deli paper. Clam Chowder was the soup. Our sandwich had a generous amount of cheese, meat and thick cut bacon. Or choose to take some of the coolers to Sandy Beach for a picnic.

Rico was a huge help packaging and shipping our fish back to Michigan for a very reasonable rate. Thanks for the great service.
We enjoyed visiting Petersburg Alaska as we're sailing Northbound. The Coastal Cold Storage restaurant is an obvious hot spot with the locals. Although it's unassuming, the food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. The tarter sauce was very good. I had the salmon burger and my husband had the shrimp bits. Don't overlook CCS to dine in, carry out, or pick up their great selection of fresh/frozen fish. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they didn't have any Salmon dip.
We had the halibut bites and the rock fish tacos. The fish were very tasty. It is low key. Would be great to have an unbreaded version of the bites.
