we have eaten here often and never disappointed. the buffet star is amazing, there is so much choice (salmon, trout, garnel, muscles, cold meat, cheese etc). the staff is very friendly and efficient. the view from the terrace overlooks the lake (lac de vassivière) and it breathtaking throughout the year. we highly recommend this place. What User doesn't like about L'escale:
3 and I explain, we ate very well and the frame is really nice as well as the service, the hic comes from the wasps much and frankly it is a damage. I hope the establishment will fix it, that's not bad for it.
House impersonal, but waitress at the top and a rich and quality meal. Thank you for this beautiful day

Good-invoice kitchen, reasonable rates and friendly staff not pushing to consumption. I only put 4 stars for the atmosphere because of the plastic chairs of the terrace on which one sweats abundantly. An address we can only recommend!
