"We all ate from the well priced and generous menu. The starters of foie gras, tartare of tuna and grey shrimp rissoles were all delicious. Main courses of rare tuna steaks, aiguillettes de canard and tornados steak with foie gras were each perfect. A nice touch was the cornet de frites served in a little stand with the steak. The locally produced ewe's milk ice cream came in a large variety of flavours including violette and marbré de pèche, all finished down to the last spoonful. Lovely and attentive service and delicious local wines including a very good Vermentino."

"A last minute booking because we had been let down by the unexpected closure of a nearby restaurant where we had a long standing booking for 9. All nine accommodated at a large round table and treated to a magnificent meal with choices available for all our fussy eaters. Staff attentive and service efficient. Quality and appearance of food superb and far above our expectations. Why no Michelin ?"
