"We ate here on one evening and one lunchtime whilst staying in the Hirsch Hotel which is almost a separate business in that meals in the Stuberl are not as far as we know chargeable to your hotel account. "Excellent food, large portions, very good value for money and very friendly hospitality, what more do you want? We sat in October on the side terrace after our hikes in the sun and we were happy about the extremely fast operation! A parking lot is right in front of the terrace."

"Since we were staying in Schwangau, we looked for restaurants and found this one. Turns out the food was wonderful, and we loved the outdoor dining area. Had a pork shank that was probably the best I’ve ever had and the price was more than...reasonable. We liked it so much we went back there 2 nights later. Although it was pouring rain, they had part of the outside seating under covers, so we sat outside again. The food was still outstanding."
