Jonas was wonderful! Started off a little rocky with Sarah. But the manager was accommodating and apologetic. Food was awesome. atmosphere was great! Got the shrimp chips. Would highly recommend! Thanks for taking care of us. View all feedback.
What Cat doesn't like about Seamus Mccaffrey's:
I had the fish and chips which was good. The service wasn't great. It could have been that they were understaffed, but we tried to get our server's attention multiple times from the table after waiting an extended amount of time for service and we even went up to her only to get blown off. Eventually, it seemed like the bartender took over our table for a bit. But when we were ready to pay, we again tried to get her... View all feedback.
Loved it! Staff was extremely solicitious and friendly.
Poor service, cold food, bad server, not a welcome atmosphere. Felt like we were being watched. Took like 15-20 minutes to refill drink, food was very inadequate. My mom's burger was cold and hard as a rock. My fish and chips was lukewarm and it possibly look like it was grazed. Overall a very disappointing and bad experience. -1/10
Both of our meals were very good. Fish and chips was spot on our my wife. My patty melt was a perfect medium rare, but light on the onion. Water glasses at empty waiting for refills. Sat near a larger party that was very loud and made it very hard to have a conversation. We'll be back because the good was that good.
We were there yesterday for lunch and were extremely disappointed. Our server was not paying much attention to our order, he seemed like he didn't want to wait on us. Took a long time to get our drinks and our food was cold. My son had the fish n chips which was two small pieces of fish and the chips which was cold. I had the mushroom Swiss burger which was cold, and seemed like it sat out for awhile, fries were cold. It was not worth the money we paid. We most likely will not return. In the past food and service was a lot better. Not yesterday.
Came in for a Green Spot (ordered a double, got a hefty pour thank you! , a solid Irish pub great atmosphere, not too busy on a Sunday but I just wanted to chill and sip. They have a ton of whiskeys, Irish, Japanese, American and of course Scotch. Green Spot was very good priced. Staff is great. Hung out for a couple of hours. Would come back. As a heads up, they have 3 Irish beers on tap, Smithwicks, Harp and of course Guinness, but no Kilkenny.
