"This was our 2nd time here at the Chalet, wife and I enjoyed the casual atmosphere. We felt transported somewhere on the upper East Coast, the nautical decor was a nice surprise on the mountain. My wife had the scallops and pasta, the scallops were juicy and cooked perfectly, the pasta and sauce were delicious. I had the blackened Catfish, the fish was moist and not over seasoned. The next time my wife had the Filet and it was tender and delicious, I choose the try the sushi, was bit disappointed. Definitely a place to go back to for Date Night! "I loved the atmosphere of this wonderful little restaurant! Admittedly, the French toast was soaked in eggwash before it was cooked instead of dipped, but it was nice thick slices, with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, it really tasted good. The food was definitely filled, and the portions enough to fill two people on a plate, although they offer half portions if you wish. The service was also very nice, I feel a little bad for my server, as my daughter tried to grab his attention and try to keep a conversation with him and wish him well and everything when he was obviously busy, but he was really nice about it, and it seemed to make his day. Overall, I would recommend this food experience to anyone who thinks about food here. But they close at 2:00."
