"Entering this unassuming restaurant tired and hungry after a visit to the bird sanctuary we did not expect much being the only restaurant in St. Brides, but boy were we wrong. The food and service were exceptional.Ann greeted us as if we were old friends and her sister Maud was busy preparing and serving guests. My husband and I had satisfying cocktails while we awaited our cod tongue and pan fried cod dinners. The cod tongue was crispy on the outside and moist texture on the inside, just the way I like it. Mashed potato and creamy coleslaw on the side made for a complete meal.Maud prepared a heavenly strawberry rhubarb cake, it was not too sweet and tasted like it was made with extra love. Ann went out of her way to insure we had an enjoyable visit; Thank you Ann!"
