"Bee Creek has been my go-to place for coffee since I discovered it last summer. Anytime I have friends and family visiting from out-of-town, I take them to BC. The cozy atmosphere, the friendly, service-oriented staff, the delicious coffee and tasty sandwiches, and the outrageous pastries make it my favorite spot in Platte City. Try their buttery, melt-in-your-mouth scones or their gooey salted caramel bars. You'll be glad you did!"

"This was a great little Cafe for breakfast. Like so many businesses these days, they're wanting help. But that didn't hinder the service, we got coffee and menus quickly and our food was delivered shortly after ordering. I will put this excellent cafe on my list of places to revisit."

"That was the first minsky I had eaten one day with my man for lunch. it has very good eating very well seasoned. very helpful staff. there was a little waiting because they had not cooked the meat yet. the server told me everything vegan told her that they wished that they had at the location and asked me what I wished. that was really thoughtful."

"Pretty good bbq according to regional standards. great location in walking distance from several shops and so. the waiting for a table was quite long on a Sunday and the staff was friendly but quite excited to the volume of customers. not the best place for a large 5 group. I'd come back."

"Definitely recommend this place! The best chicken pad Thai in the area! Spice and taste was great. Portion was perfect. The staff was really nice and got my food out quickly and it was nice and hot and delicious!"

"Where do I start? Before you even go into you, you are welcomed by the delightful smell of the smoker, it is a daily task to place and serve your foods ready. You go in and see a perfectly illuminated restaurant with live music at times and a beautiful bar with all your stack lovers. Dave, the owner, has impeccable customer service skills and I would say that this is the main reason that I come to this facility, but all about this place is incredible and it would be a shame to mention the rest of magic here. The food is stubborn and there is no item on the menu that is not made to perfection. My favourite item on the menu must be the red snapper or oxtail and I wrote a picture of the oxtail for reference. If you're just looking for a drink, the man is a mixologist and knows exactly what to do for you, so don't stress making decisions. I wish I could give Island Spices more than 5/5 stars, because this place is over perfection."

"Held our November book club meeting at Kozak's. It was my first time here. Interior was nice and clean. Separate areas for dining or booking parties and a nice bar area. I had the BBQ grilled cheese and others had the bbq cheeseburgers. For appetizers we had spinach dip and fried green tomatoes. Our server was really great, however later into the meal her attentiveness lacked as the restaurant became busier. Food was great, dinner service starts around 5pm and the food for that timeframe looked delicious! May need to come back for dinner!"
