I have just returned home from a great trip up to Applecross for a friend's weddingThe setting of the walled garden was just prefect.

"This little cafe, just as a location to die for, it was a miserable day when we visited, but with a little luck, we were able to sit outside, and take in the view, We just had a drink, and cake, an afternoon tea, I suppose, a lovely cafe, with lovely staff."

"We had the best fish and chips (haddock) I have ever eaten at the Fisherman's Kitchen. Hands down, THE best, and I've tried a few. The cullen skink was also to die for. 10/10, what a fantastic find. Watching a sea otter playing in the harbour whilst we waited for our meal was a real added bonus! A must visit when in the Ilse of Skye area."

"Would give a review, except we can hear the toilet flushing in room above(in room in The Stables), as well as footsteps above us all night. Family possibly had a child or dog, and we were permanently awake from Raised the issue with staff, but nothing could be done. Despite this, I would return. Staff were good, really friendly and accommodating, location is breathtaking, whisky bar is reasonably priced, and excellent selection…everything about this place is quality, but we will only stay in main hotel, not the stables. They need better sound insulation in the ceiling I don’t want to hear people flushing if I’m in a a night room. You wouldn’t get that in a premier inn. The bed was super hard too, which was a shame. Overall, I would still highly recommend, but the Stables rooms need a few tweaks The food was good, not great, but we were told the main restaurant was closed due to COVID issues, only to notice when we got there that it was open?! Despite all these issues, I’m still impressed by the overall feel, and would still go back."

"Had a great meal here and drinks. to test the fish cake that was delicious and super cheesy. also had the sticky toffee pudding (good amount of soak) and the cranachan, again really good. large selection of whiskys. sunset with a pint can not be beaten"

"Literally visited the village to find this chippy as it was the nearest to where we were driving , during our highland holiday. We discovered 2 things on the day , the best fish supper ever and a picturesque , smart and lovely village, tucked away in the Highlands."
