"The meal in the Restaurant was very disappointing and would not have warranted the high class statues it falls into. I had languastines, they were served cold , never had them ever served like that with a small salad, dressing was awful. I then ordered their smoked haddock fishcakes, again uneatable, overdosed in salt, my husband had mussels, they were alright but when it came to his main course of venison pie, he had to abandon it as the venison was like pulled pork, very dry and chewy, couldn't believe the standard of the food! We were put in a dining room which had 3 tables, not the main dining room, this room had no heating on, very very disappointing especially as it was our 48th Wedding Anniversary! Shall not be back nor will we recommend it to anyone."

"What a beautiful setting to have a lovely cafe. The food is so delicious and everything freshly made.Had lunch here a few days while staying in the area. Both times I was so happy with the quality of the food and flavours. Very friendly people and love the community feel. Dog friendly. Box food for takeaway which was every bit as nice. Thank you it was delicious ."

"A stunning location. We had an afternoon tea here and it was amazing. A range of tea to choose from and a delicious selection of sweet and savoury items. We then went for a walk on one of the trails around the grounds which had great views over the loch. Hopefully we will go back to stay in the future and I would love to try the restaurant too. Would definitely recommend."
