"Been a few times and never disappoints. I order the chicken tikka masala with a little extra spice to it which is always a winner, wife loves the curry selection available and tries a new one each visit. Recommend!"

"Quirky venue this place is just as he says on the line. an old fashion barge converted for on board and on river banks. the menu is not long because the more galereed would not allow it, but the selection meets most needs of people. owner and youthful. the owner is very passionate about her caffe. I started with a huh laksa, beautiful when gently seasoned and had a baguette with breakfast ingredient inside. good speck herby sausage and i.e. my mint hot chocolate was very exhausting. my partner had healthier but also delicious food. the inner of the barge still seems very authentic. friendly chatty staff, would recommend."

"If it were a rating marked out of 10, I would suggest a 5. It was not bad per se but it was also not good. The menu chalks up a great sounded delicious meal, but it was a mediocre one at best. My roast potatoes were hard and lumpy, green beans were also hard, a little more than a nice crunch, and my sirloin steak seemed to have been cut on the thinnest setting. I personally wouldn't eat there again, but wouldn't flat-out discourage others. I did only try one meal, maybe the others were better. There was a fairly decent atmosphere and on a plus side, the bar area looked nice and cosy to sit and have a few on a rainy day. Nice and friendly staff."

"It is a couple of years since we visited this pretty pub.We met up here with friends today for a long overdue catchup. A beautiful hot sunny day and we sat in the pretty gardens in the welcome shade of the many trees. The service was polite and slick, our food an absolute delight. The food was hot and beautifully presented and delicious . We shall return again soon."

"Was in front of location in the village hotel (what btw is an amazing chain for young couples aswell) googled up this place, looking for somewhere quirky different! fantastic little discovery! decor is strange wonderful, service is also on point. thanks to the cook for nice eating without high end price! 2. stock has a cabaret show, so they have the choice to go there after their meal or beside the lounge bar club! perfect for date night or fun. night out! highly recommended, clearly hidden treasure"
