Boringdon Park - Plymouth

Upon arrival, there was no clear signage indicating where the event was being held. We had to guess. When we walked in, no staff members approached us to guide us. I had to ask someone what we were supposed to do, and the response I received was unhelpful and dismissive. Our waitress took our drink order and then our starter arrived, it was disappointingly small. After waiting for 40 minutes, we were informed that we could go up for our carvery, but we were not given any directions on where to go. The quality of the food did not meet our expectations. The turkey tasted like it had been boiled in water and the vegetables lacked flavor. Due to the subpar food, slow service, and unfriendly staff, we decided to skip dessert. To add to our disappointment, the bill was much higher than expected, even though we had paid a £60 deposit. I asked for a detailed breakdown of the bill, but was told it couldn't be provided. We felt like we were being overcharged by at least £20. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing and we will not be returning to this restaurant.

I went with my family for a Sunday carvery to celebrate my son's birthday. The restaurant had a bright and airy ambiance, and we were seated at a large round table for 8. The carvery was delicious, with a great variety of vegetables. The homemade desserts were also very tasty. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience.

It was a Christmas dinner as apose to a round of golf and the food was very good as was the laid on entertainment

Went for new year was alittle disappointed this year .didn't seem to have the atmosphere food ok. singer not good DJ only did request didnt seem to flow with records pone minute rock next slow Dancing No party poppers or balloon at midnight yes got a drink on arrival &at 12am .staff friendly worked hard shame won't be going 2024 ..
