What an amazing hidden gem. A superb little bar where you will always be sure of a warm welcome and a cold cocktail. Kevin (the owner) is a brilliant host and loves to chat away with his guests. Things have changed here. The new owners/management have renamed the place Portico which will also be a cafe and bar but they have said that they are ditching the previous French theme and concentrating on a wide range of specialist cocktails. We called in today but apart from the new signage the front has fence and boarding so the gap in opening may have a short while to run. read more.
