"Does not look much from the outside, however it's very busy when you get through the door.Sausage rolls are great, pies not so good, salad bar is good and cakes selection is also very good.Can do phone orders and open at 6.30 am. Egg and bacon roll cooked fresh is great. Coffee takes a bit of time however it tastes good."

"Spending a night stayover on our way home, first time in Port Augusta, looked up reviews of where to eat Western Hotel wins hands down. Turned up on a Wednesday night the place was packed. Maria welcomed us said how busy they were even though we didn't have a booking she managed to squeeze us in. Service food was exceptional for a hotel. Will most definitely be eating here again as we travel through."

"Service was great and friendly ... and fast. Was quite busy on a Sunday night. Calamari was cooked perfect, chips were crunchy and the chickettes are great value (you'll be surprised at the size). Good value, great service and delicious."

"Had the most beautiful cup of coffee today. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Then we ventured into have lunch, we'll I like to eat. We orded the meat lovers pizza, if you go away hungry it's your own fault. The pizza was do delishes. A big thank you to all the staff for making our visit soo memorable."
