"Found this place while meandering around this neck of the woods on a glorious Saturday of the long weekend. I was looking for something sweet for later in the day, to compliment a delicious repast,The place was bustling with customers as I dutifully waited my turn in the lineup that moved quickly due to many attentive, young staff. As a confirmed butter tart aficionado, I ordered their plain and raisin versions, in addition to their brownie.While the brownie was dense and chocolaty, the tarts were a disappointment. The dough to filling ratio was out of whack, with too much thick dough. Both parts of the tart were lacking in taste, ooey gooeyness and flavor. While many have praised the tastiness of Don's product, on this day, I unfortunately did not get to see what all the hype is about. I may give Don's a second chance when next out that way, but for now, I will have to go to one of my tried and true places."

"This is a roadside woodfire pizza restaurant it does a lot of take out, but you can also sit outside in the Muskoka chairs while you devour a pizza. There are also a few picnic benches. The pizza was AMAZING! They make bread too, and it shows because the pizza dough was really delicious."

"Had some miscommunication with our table and waited for a mere 5-10 min before the server came up to take our order, however they apologized and gave our first round of drinks on the house!The service was extremely friendly and informative on beer selections, the prices are reasonable.Most importantly the food was amazing. Imagine taking the average bar food you know and love and taking it to the next level; and the beer was amazing and an excellent match to the food!10/10 if you're in the area go here you won't regret it!"

"The food was ok. However the service was below average. The server was barely smiling. We only got water from the server, she never asked us if we want coffee or anything to drink. And we got our bill so fast, I didn't even finish my plate! I am a fast eater! I probably won't come back here again."

"We got a takeaway last night and it was excellent. The batter on the haddock was tasty and crisp, while the haddock inside was perfect. By the time I got it back, the chips were a bit limp, but that was to be expected after a 20 minute drive. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money."

"The food here was good, but it was expensive. After I said that the price is understandable because I could only imagine how far Sashimi must travel under special conditions to reach this place. We tried a few dishes, tuna tower, love salmon and seaweed salad. Everybody was pretty good. Nice place when you feel for Japanese food. "Lovely day for a drive to Port Carling. Patio not that busy. Waitress slow and more concerned about how she looked and flirting with tables of young men than delivering our food. Our waiting time was way over the top. Food very over priced. The pizza I had was worse than a Pizza Pizza, which I think is the worst on the market. The tipping system asks for way too much considering the poor service. Port Carling Turtle Jack's is now of our list."
