"I was really looking forward to the meal at the Boatyard having heard so much about it. Was with 7 others on a Wednesday night and were asked to order in advance which was fine. My starter of smoked salmon was ok bur the main seafood gratin was such a disappointment. Completely dry and with no sauce i managed less than half. No waiters checking up on us during the meal (both salt mills had run out) and no comeback when i pointed out my main was inedible. What a shame. Others did fair better so I'll give 3 starts but i won't be rushing back update thanks for the reply Boathouse, i had not realised the gratins were deducted from the bill thank you"

"Sadly the breakfast was not as a reminder, the service was slow, my coffee order was forgotten about and I had to remind them after 15 minutes that I was still waiting for a latte, the food wasn’t that fresh and I picked up a piece of toast from the basket that had mould on the side, serving the crusts of bread for the French toast also. I don’t think I’ll be returning for the Firmans breakfast."

"The breakfasts were cooked professionally to a perfect temperature and service was very fast, even though busy. The staff was very helpful and wonderfully polite and everything seemed to work there. They also have a hot drink in the prices included great value in fact. There is also a toilet and sink on site. I don't have any reservations at the rental of this café 10/10, and I went 4 times to my vacation."

"Fantastic service and outstanding food. The panninis are amazing. We went twice in one week we enjoyed it so much. Reasonable prices. Service excellent. One slight issue with a dry scone that they quickly rectified by letting my mum pick anything else instead. Ps the decor and ambience is really nice too. Pps if you like your tea the tea selection box they bring out where you can see the leaves and smell them is great."
