Very glad we found this place! Loved our Thai meals and enjoyed the friendly staff and chef! They also have pizza on the menu. I wish I was in town longer to try more of their meals.

After a morning of driving and an afternoon of walking our family craved something tasty. Using advise from this very site, we headed out to Alexo's restaurant around 7pm hoping for a table. And the place was full. Fearing the worst, I went and asked when they might have a table free to discover they had tables at the rear of the restaurant. Albeit in a heated, covered area but that actually suited my children as they've never been one for crowded restaurants.We sat down, were greeted by a very friendly waiter and within a short time had ordered drink whilst perusing the very varied menu. Pizzas, Indonesian cuisine as well as curries from all over. Normally this broad a menu means you might end up with a duff choice but we had been assured, again by this website, that the food was good. It wasn't good; it was fantastic.Despite the busy restaurant, our food came relatively quickly. My wife's Nasi Goreng was, in her own words, as good as the one she had when she was in Indonesia, and the waiter's choice of pizza I picked was outstanding. The Shiraz wine was beautiful and far better than we both expected. My daughters' food was equally impressive. Despite the sheer size of the pizza, I managed to eat it all - I didn't want to leave any of it, it was that good - and roll out of the restaurant thankful of a walk back to our accommodation for the sake of my digestion.As I write this, the next morning, I can honestly say that if you want a good meal with friendly service, a wonderful and varied menu you'd be hard pressed to find a better choice in Port Fairy than Alexo's

Went there twice over the Port Fairy festival for takeaway and wasn't disappointed. Had pizza the first time and Singapore noodles the next and enjoyed them both. Staff were friendly and service was prompt.

Went here twice on a recent trip to port fairy. Enjoyed the meals on both occassions. Mostly had the asian stirfries but also tried a pizza (beef rendang). Nice wine and all reasonably priced.
