had a nice beef crucible for dinner, was a bit worried about lack of veg or salat on the menu, but they put a nice salad and sweet buffet they can help themselves. my man had a seafood basket that was good, but he said he had simply had the salatbuffet for dinner. really busy Saturday night we were there early but could not have gotten a table without a booking later. basic, clean, comfortable, comfortable. 1-star energy rating on tiny bar refrigerator so not very environmentally conscious. tw had vertical line through screen that after 10 minutes or so brightened up. no microshaft or hair dryer. cold bathroom with open window we couldn't close. friendly staff. atmospheric pub with good meals. everything in all something under the average in our experience.
