"Not only is the food incredible, but what really makes this place is the staff. I’ve gone into Kate’s a few times feeling my absolute worst, and walked out with a complete attitude change. Everyone makes you feel so loved and important, especially Kate herself. She is beautiful inside and out, and the most caring person I have ever met in my life. Sometimes I pop in for a coffee just to see everyone. If my work schedule was different I would probably be in Kate’s every day. Best place ever"

"I wanted to share what happened on 2 separate occasions at Day Break Cafe. It has me concerned how the owner is treating the waitresses with all of the “rules” there. This morning I was delivering a door dash order. The customer messaged me and asked if I could add some ketchup. The staff refused to give ketchup and said the customer has to pay for that. Pay for ketchup with a carry out order? On Veteran’s day I had a bad experience as well. It was a Friday night a hour before close, hardly any customers. I took my grandpa with mobility issues to celebrate Veteran’s day and was told we weren’t allowed to sit down until the whole party arrived. The waitress was right there when I called my mom to verify she was in the parking lot. Yes, there are seats at the hostess stand but when you have mobility issues its hard to keep getting up and down. Again, was told those are the “rules.” I have never been treated like it’s boot camp at a restaurant before. I’ve also waitressed for years and am shocked from both of those situations. "Recommended by local hotel staff. Did not disappoint. Amazing creative food and drinks, in a great atmosphere. We ate at 8pm on a Monday night and the place was still buzzing when we left. We had the taco perogies, roast beast, chicken wrap and shrimp bowl, with berry cocktail and raspberry margaritas. Everything was excellent. COME. SIT. STAY. Perfect"
