This is a glorified karaoke bar. If that's your thing, cool. But it's not a bar and barbecue. It's a bar with a kitchen. They do not care about the health of their employees or customers. Hard pass. They only give 10% food sales and their Yelp and FB accounts do not have a single menu. You cannot even keep fresh product at 10%. "We are from Asheville, which is a foodie town for sure. Kate's is totally comparable to some of the fine dining in Asheville. Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, tasty. Just an amazing little cafe that prides itself on great attention to detail. Kate is friendly and watching over the business making sure everything is perfect. We had 3 breakfasts there when we were in town. We just kept going back for yet another fabulous meal. The quiche was so amazing. The crust was unusual, and the inside was creamy and delicious. Coffee is top notch. The fruit is so fresh the last morning I had to add a side of fruit. The little side salad included with some breakfasts was crisp and fresh with wonderful dressing. You have to go to Kate's!!!!"

"If you are in Port Huron you have to try it. Don’t be fooled by the exterior just go in. The mushroom soup is wonderful and the chicken is always freshly cooked. The staff is super nice. I don’t eat French fries and my waitress was quick to offer up other selections. I will definitely visit again."
