Decided to try this because of the review and because I heard that they don’t use beer on the batter. I ordered the squid because it’s their seasonal menu. Surprisingly the squid is sooo soft and not chewy at all. Easy to eat. The batter is light. And for this seasonal menu, they have different shapes for the chips. The sunset view at Rocky Point is a bonus while enjoying it as a dinner. They’re open until 8pm throug... View all feedback.
What Albina V doesn't like about Pajo's Fish Chips At Rocky Point Park:
Fries were very hard and dry without any taste, not sure what they did to them, I could not even finish them. The fish piece was very small. Just look at it. It's almost the size of the sauce cup. Ah, and the sauce tasted not good. The worst fish and chips I have ever had. I will make sure to avoid them in their Richmond location, too View all feedback.
Long waiting time… it took me almost an hour to get my food, cuz there is always a line and place looks busy. Food is okay, there are better fish and chip place in Vancouver for sure. But view and location is a nice combo, if you wanna have a relaxing day in the park.
Ordered the 3 piece cod with fries. It was vary tasty and the tartare sauce was so good! Their picnic tables have perfect cut out holes to place your fish and chips dip in. Definitely a nice treat on a sunny day!
Next to Rocky Point Park at Port Moody. This cute restaurant serves fish chips, burger, taco, drinks, etc. Tried their Cod with fries and ginger beer. Surprisingly delicious
Great food! Fish and Chips (Halibut was amazing) Cheese Burger was so delicious! The service was fast and we didn’t have to wait for long time! I like the food so much! The price was okay, not so cheap and not so expensive as well!
What a catch!! I LOVE the fact this joint is 100% Vancouver Aquarium Oceanwise Certified and only sells sustainable seafood which was the reason for visiting here, they also have a great selection and range for veggies too! All cutlery is compostable or recyclable and they have a great selection of condiments. I was stoked to see they also have hot sauce. The tempura-style batter is great, no greasy aftertaste but all the flavor. Fish and fries were super yummy, incredibly flavorsome and a knockout lunch for a sunny Saturday, they made our day! Portions are very plentiful and incredible service with a smile whipping up great grub in a down to earth, no fuss and fantastic water-side restaurant. I also opted for a second piece of cod which was extremely fresh, juicy and flavorsome and great value. Fingers crossed for my review coming out in their dope Google Review's seasonal draw!
