We had a wonderful meal here with family and the waiter Alex was funny and welcoming! The chicken was great and so was the refilled squid! The beer is delicious and the vegetables and soup are also very good! Also, you cannot go wrong with one of the meat dishes. Very generous portions and staff! Excellent choice! View all feedback.
What Yara Faria doesn't like about O Poeiras Restaurante:
I am Portuguese but will write in English for accessibility, we came here thinking there would be vegetarian options but Alexandre, the waiter, categorically said they don't offer that kind of service here. It's disappointing to say the least as the excuse given was that the kitchen staff were on holiday and they couldn't accommodate such requests. We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor so that we walk in it without much knowledge. The host and server, Alexandro, was totally friendly and helpful. He made big suggestions. The food was exactly the way I asked. The Dourade was beautiful, very tasty. The table was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was queaky clean. We recommend this restaurant very much. Muito obrigada!!

Great restaurant with attentive service and delicious traditional Portuguese dishes. Given by Alexander who was a hospitable and uncanny individual who lets us feel at home. Great portions, fast service, very good recombinant!
Excellent quality/price ratio. Delicious meals such as Rice with duck and cod fish with amazing home-made desserts. Alejandro is the perfect host and will make your stay a wonderful experience
