What Marie Lisa doesn't like about Dar Salam Lazurdi:
Waited an hour before we got our appetizer and then main food. Spoke to waiter several times asking if food was coming and he acknowledged the wait. After an hour we got up to leave and food then came out. Service and food disappointing. Also lack of acknowledgement of edit they could have at least brought out appetizer which was hummus. Will not go back. View all feedback. What Debs Middleton likes about Dar Salam Lazurdi:
Such great food. Shared a meal with a friend from out of town and we were delighted by our dinner. Baba ganoush, vegan mezzanine, chickpea stew, wine and specialty cocktails were a hit. Also the pita! View all feedback.

read moreOverall, Dar Salam restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. While many praised the delicious food and impeccable service, some had issues with the portion sizes and handling of situations such as taking food home. The ambiance of the Alberta location was preferred over the downtown location. Despite some discrepancies, the restaurant seems to have a loyal following and attracts visitors with vegan-friendly options and high-quality Middle Eastern cuisine.

A wonderful surprise to find such an outstanding Iraqi restaurant in downtown Portland. The pecan crusted pompano fish was very flavorful and delicious.
