Pre-Covid:Eaten here many times. I love the Italian Sausage. They will add or hold per my wishes.Best thin French fries. Generous portions.Order at counter. Too small area for many folk. But I have never seen any walk-out. View all feedback.
What S doesn't like about Michael's Italian Beef:
The meat tasted like a week old or freezer burnt, very dry blah tasting. Not worth it for the money.This place needs a good cleaning staff that work, mostly sat on phones seemed put out that they had to come to counter to help customers. Great Chicago Dog's and Chicago Beef Sandwiches. Old school Chicago specialties. It's a great place but not the same since Mike has past. Miss him.
Stopped here on the way home, on a road trip. Arrived at just after 11:00am, per the website opens at 10:00am, sign it the widow also says open at 10:00am....
