Slate - Portland

What User likes about Slate:
My boyfriend and I were visiting Portland for a friend's wedding. We didn't know much about the city, so when looking for restaurants we did simple searches through OpenTable. Slate was undoubtedly our best find! We were seated in the outdoor patio/garden, which is a beautiful space. Our server was kind, funny and attentive. The drinks were absolutely delicious. What User doesn't like about Slate:
the best part of the restaurant is the magnificent terrace hidden from the main train of mississippi ave. we ordered six items and 2 were amazing, the other four were ok and pretty all used the same ingredients for different dishes. the waiter was very nice, but a bit noticeably on the specials and menu elements.
