"Been here several times in the past and the food never disappoints. The peach salad appetizer was amazing with warmed peppers on top. The Blackberry brown butter tart with dulce de leche ice cream was also superb! Service was a tad slow and the prices have increased, though that's not uncommon across the industry. Still love the open kitchen vibe, bread, wine list and house cocktails. If you are looking for a decadent night out in Portland, ME, this should be your destination"

"I visit from Portland, Maine from Canada a few times a year. I always try to get bagels from Scratch, as they are a family favorite. I am from Portland and love the Willard Beach area. It makes for a great location for this “sweet”, little bakery. The staff are great and always cheery. The baked goods are amazing. We always get bagels and herb cream cheese. My partner likes their vegan cream cheese. The coffee is pretty good too. The only down fall is I sometimes can’t get bagels because they sell out so darn fast. That’s usually a huge disappointment to the fam."

"Got take out and only took 20 minutes or so to have the order come out. Ordered the large fries, cubano, green goddess salad, house smoked turkey panini, the doughnut holes, blueberry milkshake, original milkshake, and poutine. The paninis were crispy and fresh. Fries were amazing. Probably the most flavorful ones with the perfect crunch and soft texture of the potatoes. Milkshakes were creamy and nice balance of vanilla/blueberry. Poutine was okay."
