"Wow what a wonderful little place with the most fantastic hostess who is just so lovely. We had tapas, which was really good and some of their homemade wine. Be careful it is very strong - 17%! Sangria was also lovely and less potent!! Must place to visit whilst in Porto Santo"

"Excellent food and service. I have been to many top rated restaurants in Funchal and I did not like the food as much as I did at this restaurant. Finally a taste of typical Mediterranean cuisine, where you can sense flavours of meats and vegetables. I am a very fussy customer but the service together with fantastic food was a really pleasant experience for a solo traveler. Portions were big for the prices and even a foodie like me couldn’t finish them easily : I usually don’t eat desserts but I couldn’t say no after I saw a nice presentation and description provided by the staff to another table. I left very full and satisfied. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, in my opinion the best in Madeira and Porto Santo."

"We had a fish meal which was really tasty and fresh. That's because the fish was caught on that morning. Second time there and looking forward to repeat. Mango dessert exceptional as well."

"We stayed on Porto Santo for a couple of weeks over the Christmas period, so things were naturally quiet, particularly during the working day (things definitely came to life in the evening). We chose Sea Blue for lunch on our last full day, for it 's location mainly, on the periphery of the main square in town, where the outdoor seating allowed us to sit in the sun and watch the world go by in December, quite a treat! We each had Espetada, with my other half opting for beef and me opting for chicken. We also ordered a portion of Bolo do Cacao, Madeiran bread which was served warm with garlic butter (delicious). The staff were friendly and patient with our attempts at Portuguese, the portions were generous, one being served with vegetables and the other with a large platter of chips. For anyone who, like me, baulks at pink meat, even when requesting 'well done ', the beef does come a little pink but my other half described it as tender and delicious and my chicken was lovely. We each had a beer and, together with our garlic bread and two mains, our bill came to 30.50Euros, which we thought was good value and we walked away replete. A lovely location and a relaxed atmosphere, with friendly service."
