I feel a way over this food. Steak: bombastic. Lachs: Terrible. Cornbread: exquisite. Everything was so good. I was particularly impressed by Steak and Cornbread. "We returned from salmon fishing in Canada and stayed in Portsmouth for the night. Rudi’s found on OT. Downtown Portsmouth was carved with tourists on Saturday night, so Rudis parking was a welcome view. We arrived well before our reservation, and the staff was very accommodating. They found us a good table. Very pleasant room with an excellent pianist who provides live music. The tables were full. The waitress was attentive. The paprikasalate with local peasants was good, but the lobster Risotto was a great disappointment, gooey and tasteless. The Haddock of my friend was crisp, but also generally lacking taste. We skipped Dessert. Maybe we have them in a bad night."
