6 of us had an outdoor meal on the terrace of the Bombay Bay on a breezy early evening. our waiter was very helpful and pleasant .Our pre dinner gin and tonics came quickly with lots of fresh lemon with crispy popadoms and chutney. The food was delicious ,lots of chicken ,good portions and the vegetable side dishes we had were really delicious ,best daal I've had for ages. It was lovely sitting outside in a lucky win... I booked table in advance 8.30pm arriving on time to be told there wasn’t a table for 40 minutes very poor service not even a complementary drink just told I had to wait so we decided to book a table at spice merchants which wasn’t an bother at all View all feedback.
Saturday booked lovely food kitchen was busy you had to wait I little while for food but that’s understandable taste food great service
Booked for 5.00pm waited outside for 10 minutes. Doors still locked. Left and went elsewhere. Maybe I am old fashioned, to me being late is rude.
