What DREW GAGE doesn't like about Big Bear Deli:
My first visit there. There will be NO MORE SUBWAY over priced trash sandwiches here. After the pastrami cheddar jack on marble rye that I just had and the same for my nephew only he had. Sourdough baguette. I brought half of my sammich home. Just the halfis over a pound. Got it with lite mayo honey mustard lite lettuce tomatoes red onion and peppercini peppers. Great sandwich, beautiful rustic room, fresh ingredients, good service, gluten-free bread/options, reasonable price, easy, but good. Impressed first time will come back:
Family loves their sandwiches. the staff rock. We can go in and they know what we want clean place we love, but there is a new owner hopefully they can do what Tim and his crew did. Tim, who used to have a big bear. The staff will miss them.
Get the big bear sandwich with Russian dressing. You'll thank me later. Fast friendly service and food here for years.
I go here once a week for the Hog Wild BBQ sandwich. Absolutely love this place and the people.
Always prompt service, great sandwich for a good price. My wife has food allergies and Big Bear never fails to get her special requests done right.
