"I've never deceived such an unprofessional restaurant in my life. We called today to deliver food, and they said I'm sorry. We live 6 miles from the place and she did it far. I told her that in the last 1.5 years we have delivered food with success, and tonight she said we're sorry we didn't deliever there. She yelled at me and hung up. Then I called back and now the story changed, she didn't have enough riders and hung up. I asked to talk to the owner and hang them up. She told me my order was 53.00 when the menu was 32.00. Seriously, what is wrong is this world. She lost me."

"Our kids loved the egg sandwiches though all 3 received bacon I had only ordered one with bacon take out so I couldn't return) . My make your own sandwich was bland bean hummus but maybe that's my fault. The latte was good! Crowded duringlunch/brunch time on a Sunday.."

"Friday night dinner. Ordered drinks...very good and appetizers. Philly cheese steak rolls were good, the poutine was amazing. Entrees were a rib eye, cooked to perfection and an order of short ribs, also great. Ordered the canoli cake to go. Looks great as well...seven layers. The staff was courteous and friendly. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend."

"If you want to experience the best meal of your life, go to Essie 's, order one of their delicious cocktails (any will do), order grits croquettes (1 serving per 1-2 people), the earth-shatteringly delicious pork loin over a melange of grilled corn, broad beans, red peppers, and bacon, and end the evening with the stunning 'melon berries, ' which consists of amazingly light fruit sorbets, watermelon, ground cherries (the yellow midwestern fruit, not chopped up sweet cherries), mint, and candied grapefruit zest (plus superfluous but delicious sugar cookie bits). The chef has an extraordinary way with layered flavors and you will not be disappointed. But hurry! The menu changes seasonally. If you don 't like your food to touch/mix and you 're not a fan of trying new things, don 't go here. Everyone else? Call to make sure they have tables open (the place is small but not at all cramped) and get there in a hurry. Everything on the menu is excellent, but that pork loin dish was DIVINE. I can 't stop thinking about it."
