"I have used this Chip Shop several times and last year it wasn’t very good but it has recently changed hands. The service and food is now excellent. I don’t normally eat mushy peas but they have Home made mushy peas and they were a nice colour and flavour. The cod was cooked fresh and again a good texture. The chips were really nice. Not greasy at all. They offer vegetarian options too. I used the online ordering option and it was ready to pick up quite quickly. The new staff are helpful and friendly. If you haven’t been for a while its definitely worth returning. Vegetarian options: We had the veggie nuggets but they have have veggie burgers and Halloumi too. Kid-friendliness: Several food choices for children."

"We were here for a group function so had booked out the back room. The menu they'd provided had good choices and all three courses were very good no problem asking for extra gravy either. The staff are helpful and friendly, plus the drinks and food are well priced, so are great value."
