"We had a lovely Sunday lunch..at a fab table infront of big byfolding doors..with a beautiful view. The waitress was as always polite and friendly..and i believe is the owners daughter. What a lovely young lady she is. The food was excellent. Freshly cooked and with a great selection of veg. Our friends were very impressed.. we finished by having our drinks outside in their lovely courtyard and garden area. With the beautiful Shropshire countryside around us.. how could you fail to enjoy yourself. We will be back."

"We stayed in the holiday cottage behind Ye Olde Steppes last week. It was a joy to pop in (most days! and pick up locally sourced produce. We were always met with a smile and a really warm welcome. A shop that is well and truly the heart of the village. It made our stay so much more enjoyable. I can't comment on the tea room as it wasn't open, but had it been we would definitley have taken advantage. Thank you!"
